All the latest Man Utd transfer news and rumours from across the British and European press on Wednesday, January 3.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is desperate to land PSG winger Lucas Moura on loan in January, according to The Sun.
The 25-year-old is yet to start a match for the French side this season, and was a target for United back in 2012.
United goalkeeper Sergio Romero is looking to leave the club this month to secure a starting place for Argentina at the World Cup, according to the Independent.
Romero has not made a single appearance in the Premier League this season and has played just five times in all competitions.
Tuttosport in Italy say Napoli have agreed a deal with Benfica to sign Spanish left-back Alex Grimaldo, which would allow Manchester United to swoop for FaouziGhoulam for £53m in the summer.
The 26-year-old Algerian, who only signed a new deal at Napoli last month, has been sidelined since April with a serious knee injury.
Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, a rumoured target for United, says he is not thinking of a move away from the club in January.
He told Novosti: "I'm currently just focusing on Lazio's games. This season, Serie A has significantly improved in quality. The best proof of this is the fact that all the Italian clubs are still in the Champions League or Europa League.
"I don't think about leaving Lazio, because I'm very happy in Rome."
Matteo Darmian is not for sale in the January transfer window despite reported interest from Roma, according to the United defender's agent Tullio Tinti.
"I've not received any calls from Roma for the player," Tinti told Rete Sport.
