Essential Duties and Role Responsibilities

Responsible for design, implementation, communication and coordination of all environmental, health and safety programs for the organization and for its client’s requirements.

Review internal HSE Policies and practices to ensure they are current and appropriate.

Ensure to prepare the monthly safety performance report of the organization covering all key safety aspects and submit the same to the management.

Should continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness across the Organization to create a culture that prioritizes effective HSE and balances overall associated costs.

Ensure to publish tool box topics every month, and keep the documentation for the tool box meeting properly.

Make sure that all workshop and driving staff are participating at least one tool box meeting in a week

Coordinate with the organization's GPS coordinator to ensure that all the organization's

trucks are fitted with OBC and all the OBC’s are functioning perfectly.

Plan, Supervise and coordinate training program for the staff and drivers which will increase proficiency in safe practices and promote HSE Consciousness and keep record for the same.

Should make sure that all Company Tankers are in compliance with ADR standard requirements and hazardous product signages with corresponding UN code are displayed.

Implement plans and policies for safety management and driving behavior.

Take actions based on the driving violations report and document the same.

Have regular sessions with drivers to correct them on driving violations and explain the safety regulations of the company to drivers.

Conduct hazard and risk assessments and change existing, or develop new recommendations from these assessments.

Responsible for the development of Safety annual budget recommendations and its implementation.

Address specific reporting and record keeping requirements of OSHA, EWURA, WMA etc as well other relevant safety/regulatory compliance matters and to ensure company sites are in Compliance.

Candidate Requirements

Education and/or Experience

- University degree – Engineering or similar

- Previous experience of the transport industry.

- Technical knowledge

- Knowledge of Fuel transport industry

- Previous Managerial experience

- Understanding of computer systems in general
